Quiero aclarar una cosa sobre el stackmat y el reglamento.
En los campeonatos que he estado y también me han comentado en el open de Madrid, hay gente que dice que al empezar, tienes que tocar los sensores con los dedos y al pararlo también. Yo le he advertido que no es así, al pararlo no hace falta, pero me insisten en que no me he leído bien el reglamento.
Ton me confirmo que para pararlo no hace falta en el primer open de Murcia.
Bueno, visto que en el último campeonato han especificado por los altavoces que hay que pararlo con los dedos, pongo aquí las normas para que se vea que no es así (hace ya tiempo que no es así, y en el próximo reglamento tampoco lo será).
Al empezar hay que usar los dedos, véase A4b1 y A4b1.

A4) Starting the solve
* A4a) The judge confirms that the timer has been reset and is ready for use.
* A4b) The competitor must place his hands on the timer sensors.
* A4b1) On a StackMat Generation 1 timer, the competitor must place his hands flat on the StackMat timer, with his fingers touching the sensors and palms down. Penalty: 2 seconds.
* A4b2) On a StackMat Generation 2 timer, the competitor must place his hands flat on the elevated area of the StackMat, with his fingers touching the sensors and palms down. Penalty: 2 seconds.
* A4b3) The competitor must not have any physical contact with the puzzle before he starts the solve. Penalty: 2 seconds.
* A4c) When the judge and the competitor mutually agree in a reasonable period that the competitor is ready to begin the solve, the judge says 'OK?'.
* A4d) When the competitor replies with 'OK', the judge uncovers the puzzle after 1 second.
* A4d1) The competitor starts the solve by removing his hands from the timer, thus starting the timer.
* A4d2) The competitor must start the solve within 3 seconds. Penalty: 2 seconds.
* A4d3) The competitor must start the solve within 5 seconds. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.
* A4e) Time penalties for Starting the Solve are not added. There is a maximum of 1 time penalty for Starting the Solve.
Al terminar no es necesario usar los dedos, simplemente con las palmas hacia bajo y las manos planas, véase A6c.

A6) Ending the solve
* A6a) The competitor ends the solve by releasing the puzzle and then stopping the timer.
* A6b) It is the competitor's responsibility that the timer is stopped correctly.
* A6c) The timer must be stopped using both hands, with both hands flat and palms down. Penalty: 2 seconds.
* A6d) The competitor must fully release the puzzle before stopping the timer. Penalty: 2 seconds.
* A6e) The competitor must not manipulate the puzzle until the judge has inspected the puzzle. Penalty: disqualification of the solve.
* A6f) The competitor must not reset the timer until the judge has written down the result on the competition sheet. Penalty: disqualification of the solve (courtesy of judge).
* A6g) The judge must inspect the puzzle without manipulating it and must determine whether the puzzle has been completely solved.
* A6h) In case of a dispute the puzzle must not be manipulated until the dispute has been settled, involving the main judge if needed. Penalty: disqualification of the solve (courtesy of judge).
* A6i) Time penalties for Ending the Solve are not added. There is a maximum of 1 time penalty for Ending the Solve.
Este post no es para crear ningún debate, porque está todo claro en las normas, simplemente quería aclarar que se puede parar con las palmas de las manos sin tocar con los dedos.
